Day Fifteen

1/11/2010

Starting week three and it is hard to believe! Maybe a year and a half will fly by...the first week/week and half moved so excruciatingly slow that I started thinking that I was going to feel like a lifetime of hades.
Today I was home with office work until about 4:00 pm and then I hit the road for Missouri and after a 4 1/2 hour drive finally made it to my hotel. As I hit MO, it reminded me of the cold last week in Oklahoma. Things had warmed up over the weekend in OK but are still bitter here with piles and piles of snow and slush.
No biggies with food today...was able to eat every 3-4 hours and keep metabolism burning. Never got real hungry. Had a little mental hunger when on of my little sisters piled through the door (she stays here while I am on the road) with a huge deluxe pizza with extra cheese but I satisfied my longing with a spinach pizza on pita bread for lunch. Dinner was McDonald's drive through and I felt a sense of accomplishment as I threw the buns immediately in the trash. The only downside to this is that I am use to being able to eat while driving and although not the most safe practice, it is convenient for my life. There is just no way to eat an Angus beef patty with mushrooms with no bun without a M-E-S-S!! Oh well...it will be worth it! Have to work tomorrow and hopefully my sister-in-law will keep that baby inside until I get home this weekend...I want to be there for the birth. Good night!
